Perceive Beauty

Every once in a while,

It’s only healthy;

To visualize the world around you,

And perceive beauty.

To stand in front of your mirror

And feel sexy.

Listen to music,

Achieve inner peace and tranquility,

And perceive beauty.

To gain an appreciation

For Mother Nature;

Maybe that way,

We may ease our destruction

On poor Mother Nature;

Maybe that way,

We might just learn to regurgitate

All that brings hate.

We might just look at the world differently

When learn to perceive beauty.

When we cease to look at plants and animals as being distinct;

We might just save all life on earth

From getting extinct.

When we learn to perceive beauty;

We might just learn to look beyond the aesthetically ugly

And see

Nothing but

Beauty.

We may recognize

The symphonies of chirping birds,

And blowing winds,

Ocean tides

And keep in mind,

That this is more than mere occurrence in natural adventure.

Recognize that this is the phenomenal orchestra

Of Mother Nature;

Only understood entirely ,

By they that take the time

To try and perceive beauty.

Beauty surrounds us;

It’s in the people we meet,

The grass at our feet,

The buzzing honey Bee’s,

The seemingly silent trees,

Beauty lies in the eyes of the adroit being in that mirror,

Beauty lies in the eyes of this dear reader.

So I hope you can make it duty,

To glance at all existence around you,

And,

Perceive Beauty.
