Behind the scenes (A poem by Phanuel Ayelum)

Pressure makes diamonds;

So they say,

Did they tell you,

That it also writes content?

Did they mention,

The stress and the tension

That lies in the lies of perfection.

Behind these-

rhyming schemes,

Lies a tale,

A breath,

The inhale-

That ushers in a search-

For inspiration stream.

Behind this screen;

Is a thought

and a scream.

When the ideas don’t strike,

My mind is seemingly on strike.

I heard that a word,

Is the architecture of an idea-

But what exactly does the architect do,

When there aren’t any blueprints?

Behind the scenes-

A hurricane was set to form,

When I started to brainstorm!

Behind the screen,

Behind the schemes,

The pressure of ‘cluelessness’ is mine to feel.

Behind the scenes;

The pressure is real!
