When I miss you (A poem by Phanuel Ayelum)

Hallucinations;

Reality of the fake.

Imaginative endeavor

Through my greatest mistake.

Addiction;

A rush deep in my veins.

Hormonal imbalance inside-

Your absence catalyses the pain.

Discomfort;

Addict without substance.

And so long I continually yearn

Only a glimpse of your fragrance.

Pulse;

Analogous to hypertension.

Aided by this excruciating rush,

This goes far beyond an obsession

Disintegration;

Into the stormy hue.

I can’t hold myself together

Just not when I’m missing you!
