Poetic medley (A poem by Phanuel Ayelum)

Scribbling and scribbling;

Creating a mess.

Want to read this?

Well be my guest.

Mashing paper;

I didn’t like that piece.

I’ll write another,

For the person I miss.

Laying it down;

Tracing this ink.

At the end of this poem,

Please tell me what you think.

Blogging gets hard;

Every once in a while.

But still I persist,

I believe I can go the mile.

Stats are stressing;

I’ll try not to look.

I need a distraction,

I’ll read a book.

What will I blog about?

It needs to be real.

It must tell a story;

That my reader can feel.

Thinking and thinking;

Yet I still have nothing.

Perhaps ideas will click,

Once I start writing.

Pen kissed paper;

And the magic happened.

It’s like the poetry-blog-fairy came

Waved her wand, and my mind was opened.

Imagination soars;

Complete poetic thought.

I know what I’ll publish today,

This poem I just wrote!
