Spend your life Alive (A poem by Phanuel Ayelum)

The privilege to exist,

Be a part of time,

Until fate doesn’t have a twist.

The gift in all that lives,

One that can be lost

When time shakes the sieve.

An ability to lay-

Footprints in the sands of time

So live;

Young or Aged,

You must understand-

That life is edged.

So live;

Try something new-

For a time draws nigh

When our death is due.

So live;

Spend your life Alive,

Take risks, take chances

With will to survive.

For the death of our kind

Is a fate to be met someday.

But it is only meaningless tragedy

To die everyday…..
