Mornings (A poem by Phanuel Ayelum)

They call it the morning;

They say it’s a reminder that we are alive,

I heard it’s most beautiful at sunrise-

If you can catch it at five.

They call it a symbol of hope;

A glorious glow after dark,

A growing beauty in the skies-

Rising with the song of the lark.

Some say it’s the most beautiful time of day;

When aesthetic meets hope,

They call it the visual song

One they wish would never stop.

They say it’s the beginning of day;

A prelude to potential,

A beginning of what is yet to be,

They say a morning is an intro.
